The School Nursing Service would like to share the following information for Reception pupils.
Public Meeting
A public meeting is being held at 6pm on Monday 30th January 2023 at Cwmtawe Community school. This will provide the opportunity to ask Members questions and discuss the proposal to establish a new build English-medium 3-11 primary school to replace Alltwen, Godre’rgraig and Llangiwg Primary schools.
An online meeting will also be held on Wednesday 1st February for those who can’t attend in person. Please email ssip@npt.gov.uk to request the link.
The consultation period has been extended to Tuesday 7th February 2023 to allow for additional comments to be received following the meetings.

Jeremy Miles’ visit to our school.
We were very proud to welcome the Minister for Education and Welsh Language to our school on Friday 21st October. The pupils enthusiastically spoke about their learning, in particular our New Curriculum for Wales journey. The Education Minster joined Reception for a delicious lunchtime meal and staff were pleased to discuss the successful free school meals roll out. Mr Miles commended the school on a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
